11-Month-Old: From Unpredictable Naps & 40-Minute Bedtimes to a Calmer, More Confident Family
The situation: An 11-month-old who could only nap while being held, needed nursing to fall asleep, took 40 minutes to settle at bedtime, and had naps that looked different every single day.
What we did: We brought Dad into the routine to share the load and build co-regulation, worked on lowering anxiety around sleep for the whole family — not just the baby — and identified the need for an ENT evaluation for possible reflux and oral ties.
The outcome: Within just 1 week of small, intentional changes, naps became more predictable, overnight stretches got longer, and the family connected with the right physician to address the root physical cause — all while keeping connection and responsiveness at the center.
9-Month-Old: From Hourly Wake-Ups to 7-Hour Stretches
The situation: A 9-month-old waking every 2 hours overnight, only able to fall back asleep through nursing or rocking.
What we did: We looked at his sleep biology and got curious about his individual temperament — working with it instead of against it — and built a consistent routine designed around who he actually was, not a generic age-based schedule.
The outcome: He moved to 7-hour overnight stretches, and on the nights he did wake, he was back asleep within 5 minutes — no nursing or rocking required. No sleep training, no tears — just a routine that finally matched his needs.
14-Month-Old: From Hourly Waking & Contact Naps to Confident Independent Sleep
The situation: A 14-month-old who was waking every hour overnight and could only nap while being held — she wouldn't settle alone for sleep at all, day or night.
What we did: We started with connection, not correction — looking at her rhythms, her actual sleep needs for her age, and digging into the root cause of the frequent waking rather than just trying to "fix" the symptom.
The outcome: Within 2 weeks, she was sleeping independently in her own space, waking only once overnight (and only if she actually needed something), and mom felt confident responding to her — no crying it out, no separation, just a baby who finally had what she needed to sleep.
